20 Simple Wrinkle Erasers

 Skin aging is a natural process in which collagen and elastin, which keep our skin firm and youthful, begin to decline, leading to wrinkles. Cell production and quality also decline over time, leading to wrinkles. Unfortunately, these factors are beyond our control, and although diet and supplements can slow the process, it won't stop it.


The effects that are within our control are largely environmental, such as pollution (e.g. smoking) and sun damage. Here are 20 easy ways to reduce wrinkles and slow down the aging process. 

1. Quit smoking (it's #1 for a reason)

2. Always wear sunscreen, whether it's cloudy or sunny, and stay out of the sun.

3. Hydrate the skin by drinking about 8 glasses of water per day. 

4. Use skin care products that contain antioxidants and AHAs.

5. Moisturize your face twice a day.

6. Reduce stress. (Try reading, exercise, meditate) 15 minutes a day is a good start.

7. Reduce alcohol consumption. Too much fun can put a lot of pressure on your system and accelerate the formation of wrinkles. 

8. Eat healthy by incorporating lots of fruits and vegetables into your daily diet.

9. Sleep at least 8 hours a night.

10. Eat fish three times a week. Great for skin and general health.

11. Check with your doctor about supplements, your diet may be missing some of the most important things.

12. Use an eye cream for the delicate skin around your eyes every night.
